What To Wear As A Bride To Be

Hello, Friends!

We have almost made it to June (YAY) and I am just shy of less than 100 days until the big day. I am getting SO excited and SO anxious for my wedding day to get here! Can you blame me? I am so thrilled to have collaborated with Aidan Mattox again to bring you some fabulous dresses for, “What To Wear As A Bride To Be!” Be sure to check out my last post featuring Aidan Mattox for the perfect Christmas Cocktail Dress & Black Tie Gown.

Do you notice anything different about my dress? Anything, not so typical-bride? That’s because I don’t think as a bride to be you have to wear white to every single event.  I picked this dress specifically because it was a tan/sheer underlay and had my wedding colors in it! It also makes a statement and I am sure to stand out from the expected white dress!  As you know, I love to wear things that are on trend because I love fashion! I definitely have a preppy- classic side as well, but this time I am spicing it up for an event!

This floral dress I’m wearing is intended for a bridal shower I have coming up soon. It also would be a beautiful engagement party dress and would look perfect for a cocktail party as lilac is the hot color this season. Anytime purple is in style, I am allll in – do I need more of a reason to rep TCU? This dress is perfect for any dressy or cocktail event. Also, not only will you be able to wear it again (BECAUSE IT ISN’T JUST STARK WHITE) you can wear it to a wedding or another cocktail party. I can’t tell you how many friends will say, ” I don’t know what to do with all of these white dresses!” after their wedding day. You may be able to sneak white into a baby shower or some type of summer party, but it can get tricky. You don’t want to wear white to someone else’s wedding shower. Trust me on this one. 😉
