Nantucket Recap

Hello!

I have been a busy bee over here & have finally cranked out my long-awaited Nantucket recap for you all! I received lots of feedback from Instagram that you would love to see where I went on this trip. This was my third time to visit with Chris’s family and each year I find something new & exciting to discover. It was such a treat to get to visit some of my favorite spots as well as trying a few new places on the island. I especially loved going back to Sconset where Chris and I took our engagement photos! It is such a dreamy spot on the island to reminisce and makes Nantucket even more special to us!

Nantucket has become one of my favorite vacation spots as it has been my husband’s for such a long time. All of his favorite spots have quickly become my favorites and there isn’t any trip that can’t be complete without going to Juice Bar every night after dinner – even if I’m about to pop! I loved trying a few new restaurants on this trip and especially seeing Bartlett’s Farm for the first time. Be sure to check out my full Nantucket Travel Guide from when I went back in 2017!

While on the island, I stumbled into the most unique store called Olivela. This reminded me of a smaller version of Forty-Five Ten and a few other eclectic boutiques. I was so overwhelmed – because everything was so cute! They had the Danse Lente bag that I have worn all season and picked up this lipstick that I now can’t seem to leave the house without! Gypsy was another favorite store of mine and especially loved that they had cowboy boots on display by Golden Goose – I loved seeing the western trend even on Nantucket! Next time I will have to bring my Miron Crosby boots along with me!

A few new dining spots that I feel in love with were Dune, Ships Inn, and The Green. I don’t think there is a bad meal on the island anywhere but it seems to amaze me on how many delicious restaurants I find each visit. Dune had a delicious and eclectic menu and LOVED their swordfish. Definitely, a great dinner spot if you are visiting the island soon. For a quick and casual lunch, I loved The Green. I feel in love with their Gobb Sandwich and lately, have been craving it when I have been hungry at work! Their whole menu looked good and they also had some really yummy looking juices as well – next time I will try those if I am not too full!

The day we went to Bartlett’s Farm we ended up venturing out to Cisco Brewery. I have done many winery tours, like the one on our honeymoon, but have never done a brewery tour and it was a lot of fun to learn how beer was made! Beer isn’t my favorite, but they had delicious cider that I ended up drinking the rest of our brewery visit. We loved spending the afternoon there and I finally got to try my first lobster roll by Nantucket Lobster Trap – it was delicious!

It was such an incredible trip and hope to go again soon! This visit was so special for Chris and me as a married couple and with so many new and exciting memories! This wraps it up for my summer travels but stay tuned to where I am traveling next!
