Hey, friends!
I’m so excited the 4th of July is almost here! It has always been one of my favorite holidays. I love it because it’s always so easy going and a time to relax and enjoy family and friends. I have so many good memories of eating watermelon and bomb pops by the pool and being at Camp Longhorn when I was younger on the 4th of July. Some years are more eventful than others but I am excited to be doing something casual and relaxing this year. My husband and I don’t have any plans yet, but we are so excited to get to relax and spend time together and with our new pup, Teenie! I will have more of her on the blog soon, but I had to sneak her into a few photos below because she loves to join me for my outfit try-on sessions! Be sure to watch for updates of her on my instagram page.
Since we aren’t sure what we are doing this year, I wanted to put together a few outfits that could work for multiple 4th of July festivities. With this being one of my first times out of the house (or just another day in) I wanted to have some options and a few that I know you may love! Whether you are going to a casual bar-b-que or a friend’s pool, these outfits should have you covered for a relaxing and wonderful 4th of July weekend!
4th of July LOOK 1
I love this outfit because you can wear it almost anywhere. I wore this in my post a month or so back styled with my Miron Crosby cowboy boots.
4th of July LOOK 2
This dress is so easy to throw on and also comes in another great print that would be perfect for the 4th. I also love this bag I snagged a few years ago for my honeymoon. It is the perfect pool or beach bag, and Teenie likes it, too! Her time in the bag didn’t last very long because she loves to chew!
4th of July LOOK 3
This last look is so easy and is perfect going from the pool to fireworks. It’s so hot right now in Texas and this outfit will keep you cool and can even bring the sleeves up at night if there is a light breeze!
I hope you loved these outfits. I had so much fun putting these together and can’t wait to wear all of these pieces all summer long! I also shared the items in my bedroom below. I receive a lot of questions about the 3 chinoiserie images above my bed. They were from Wisteria and are not available on their website anymore but they may have them in their Dallas store. I shared another beautiful piece of artwork if you are also looking for something similar that is currently on sale.

I hope you have a wonderful and safe 4th of July!
